Billiard Bye Laws
1. The charges for using the Billiards table are:
(a) A charge of Rs.15/- per ½ an hour or part thereof will be levied for the use of a table irrespective of which kind of game or number of players.
2. No member may start a game with the Marker when other members are waiting for a table, though a game which has been commenced earlier may be completed.
3. When all available tables are occupied, members desiring to play shall record the fact on the slate provided and must be present on the completion of the previous game or forfeit their standing.
4. A table may not be reserved for any sort of game for more than 30 minutes
5. Dependents of members below the age of 15 years will not be permitted to enter the Billiard room at any time.
6. The Billiards room will remain open during the following hours only
for members: All days 1.00pm to 10.00pm
for dependents Weekdays 1.00pm to 7.45pm (in summer)
1.00pm to 6.45pm (in winter)
He is to vacate the table 45 minutes earlier if a member
is waiting to play
7. If the cloth is cut or the table otherwise damaged by a member, his dependent or his guest, the member will be held responsible and will be charged Rs.1000/- per inch for repairs, if the damage of cloth or table is serious, he will be charged such further amount as the Committee may determine. If in the opinion of the Committee damage was willful, upto six times the value may be charged.
8. Every game played shall be signed for, by atleast one member or a dependent of a member
9. UCP / Permanent Members will only be allowed to play on the center table after 5pm only in their absence, others may play.
10. UCP/Permanent members will only be allowed to play in the center table after 5pm. Only, if, they are not playing the other may play.
